Angèle is a Laurie J. Hendren scholarship recipient under the supervision of Dr. John Kildea at the RI-MUHC. She is a McGill undergraduate student majoring in psychology and minoring in educational psychology and East Asian Studies. Her role consists of working on the OPAL OncoBuddy project. The goal of the OncoBuddy project is to build an AI-powered matching algorithm into Opal to match cancer patients with each other for the purpose of peer support. She helps in tasks such as designing the user interfaces, conducting semi-structured interviews with patients, and analyzing the data obtained from the interviews.
