Srishti is a MITACS Globalink Research Intern 2022 under the supervision of Dr. John Kildea at McGill University Health Centre, and an undergraduate student studying Computer Science Engineering with specialisation in artificial intelligence and machine learning at SRM University. She will be working on two projects. Her first research project is to develop a robust machine learning model to predict whether a head-neck cancer patient would require a replanning or not and it they do require replanning then when should the be replanned. This project will ensure that the hospital resources are used optimally and in a planned manner. Her second project is to develop an unsupervised machine learning model in order to group the incidents of the hospital that are currently of the “others” category. This will help in grouping all of the similar incidents that are marked as “others” together and later they can be labelled with a better and more descriptive name and can be used in more efficient manner.
