Kayla O'Sullivan-Steben awarded an NSERC Postgraduate Scholarships – Doctoral (PGS D) award

Congratulations to MSc student Kayla O’Sullivan-Steben who has been awarded a three-year NSERC Postgraduate Scholarships – Doctoral (PGS D) for PhD studies in the Kildea Lab.

Kayla’s PhD project will develop digital twinning software for oncology treatments with a goal to treat cancer patients in the virtual world and predict treatment their outcomes before treating them in the real world. This project will build on existing Radiation Oncology Knowledge Sharing (ROKS) and data donation (Opal) research in the Kildea Lab.
