Opal needs your help! We are looking for philanthropic organizations (foundations or non-profits) that can help secure its non-commercial open-source mission.

Philanthropic support can help us keep the lights on and ensure that the expertise behind this open-source technology is not lost.

In the meantime, we will keep trying to bring our technology to the attention of the powers that be. Opal has made a real difference in the lives of patients like Pierre. At this time when digital sovereignty is an issue, it is such a shame that official Quebec is not paying attention to a Quebec-made solution that has proven itself.

If you know of any foundations that might be able to help, please let me know.

Opal a besoin de votre aide. On recherche des organismes philanthropiques (fondations ou organismes sans but lucratif) qui pourraient contribuer à pérenniser sa mission non commerciale de logiciel libre.

Un soutien philanthropique nous permettrait de poursuivre nos activités et de garantir la pérennité de l’expertise qui sous-tend cette technologie libre.

Entre-temps, nous continuons de faire connaître notre technologie aux instances décisionnelles. Opal a véritablement transformé la vie de patients comme Pierre. À l’heure où la souveraineté numérique est un enjeu majeur, il est regrettable que le gouvernement québécois ne s’intéresse pas à une solution québécoise qui a fait ses preuves.
