Laura is a PhD candidate in the Division of Experimental Medicine at McGill University. She joined the Kildea lab’s Neutron-Induced Carcinogenic Effects (NICE) team in 2018.

Laura’s work is currently focused on the experimental evaluation of neutron relative biological effectiveness (RBE) in human peripheral blood lymphocytes at neutron energies similar to those found in radiotherapy treatment bunkers.
