Kelly Agnew is a data scientist and software developer on the OHIG team. Kelly’s undergraduate background is in Physics and Computer Science and he recently completed his Masters degree in Management Analytics. Kelly’s passion is leveraging data through machine learning techniques to help solve management-identified pain points within the organization. Kelly’s work on the OHIG team includes:
-Contributions to the peer-support project “Oncobuddy” (Now known as “OpalBuddy / OpalTips”)
-Regular maintenance and upgrades of the Opal Integration Engine data management system
-Design and ongoing implementation of the Databank project whose goal is to disseminate the de-identified data of consenting patients to approved clinical researchers
-Regular maintenance of internal OHIG databases and data systems
