Douaa El Abiad has a physics graduate degree from Université de Montréal. She has a previous experience in plasma physics. She worked on generating Silicon-carbide nanoparticles in liquid by in-liquid plasma method.
Douaa was previously an intern (Summmer 2021) in Kildea’s lab. She worked on unsupervised machine learning project. The purpose of her project is to label unlabeled radiotherapy incidents dataset of the Canadian National System for Incident Reporting-Radiation Treatment (NSIR-RT) and the local dataset at the McGill University Health Centre. Currently, Douaa ia a research assistant at Kildea Lab.
